Tony Paikeday

Senior Director, AI systems, NVIDIA

Tony Paikeday is Senior Director of AI systems at NVIDIA, responsible for the go-to-market for NVIDIA’s DGX portfolio of AI supercomputers. In his role, Tony helps enterprise organizations infuse their business with the power of AI with infrastructure solutions that enable insights from data. Tony was previously with VMware, responsible for bringing desktop and application virtualization solutions to market, as well as key enabling technologies including GPU virtualization and software-defined data center. Prior to joining VMware, Tony was at Cisco, building its data center solutions. Prior to Cisco, he held business development roles working with enterprise and service provider accounts, after having started his career as a Manufacturing Engineer for Ford Motor Company. Tony holds an engineering degree from the University of Toronto.


Hoseb Dermanillian

Senior Manager, WW AI Business Development, NetApp

Hoseb joined NetApp in 2014. In his current role, he manages and develops AI and Digital Transformation business globally. Hoseb's focus is to propose and discuss NetApp's value-add in the AI and Digital Transformation space as well as helping customers build the right platform for their data driven business strategies. As part of business development, Hoseb is also focused on developing NetApp AI channel business by recruiting and enabling the right AI ecosystem partners and enabling go-to-market strategies with those partners. Hoseb comes from a technical background. In his previous role, he was the Consulting System Engineer for NetApp’s video surveillance and big data analytics solutions. Hoseb holds a Masters degree with distinction in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut and he has multiple globally recognized conference and journal publications in the field of IP Security and Cryptography.


Ian Ferreia

Core Scientific, Chief Product Officer - AI

Ian Ferreira has over 20 years of experience in engineering within large companies and tech start-ups. He has expertise in software, UI/UX, systems architecture, product development, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and leading successful teams. Ian has a healthy obsession with end user experience, high performance computing and massive parallel systems. He joined Microsoft in 2004 as a Senior Software Design Engineer Lead and received five promotions in ten years, with his last role as Group Program Manager. During his tenure he developed the architecture and implementation of Bing Ads, created the world’s first real-time bidding exchange, successfully launched the Windows 8 Ads-in-Apps, and launched the largest cloud deployment at the time.
